1. Who we are

Augusta Dynamics is a trade name of Augusta Industries B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 42013933). Augusta Industries B.V. is the controller for the processing described in this policy.

2. What data we process

We only process the personal data listed below:

• Contact details you submit: when you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.
• Application details: if you apply for a role, we process the information you choose to share with us.
• Technical data: our hosting infrastructure records IP addresses and basic request data in server logs for security and operational purposes.
• Newsletter: your email address, and when and on which page you signed up. If you contact us through a form or by email, your address is also added to our newsletter; every issue has a link to leave the list.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up on it (legitimate interest, and steps prior to entering into a contract).
• To handle your job application (steps prior to entering into a contract).
• To keep our website secure and operational (legitimate interest).
• To send our newsletter (your consent when you sign up; our legitimate interest when you have contacted us). You can leave the list at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website uses first-party analytics operated by Augusta Dynamics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, scrolling, clicks and form submissions, together with an anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical details of your device and browser. This data is stored in our own systems and is not sold or shared with advertising networks. Where you submit a form, your submission is linked to that visitor record so that we can respond in context. Visit statistics are also collected through Metricool, the service we use to measure how our social media activity brings visitors to the site. Session recordings and heatmaps may additionally be collected through Microsoft Clarity, and aggregated audience statistics through Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and no advertising signals. Metricool, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics load only after you accept analytics in the banner shown on your first visit; if you choose essential only, none of them is loaded. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Videos in our articles first show our own still image, and nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode), Google receives your IP address, and the player may store data in your browser.

5. How long we keep data

We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless a business relationship follows.

Application data is deleted no later than four weeks after the conclusion of an application procedure, unless you give us consent to keep it on file for up to one year.

Server logs are kept for a short rotation period only.

Your newsletter address is kept while you are on the list. When you leave, we keep only the record that you left, so that you are not added again.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run this website and our email (such as hosting providers), under data processing agreements, and with authorities where the law requires it. Where possible, data is processed within the European Economic Area. Our emails, including the newsletter, are sent through Resend, which processes your email address for that purpose only.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@augustadynamics.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
